The HCHiP Semiconductor Competence Centre aims to provide access to
to the domestic and European chip infrastructure, based on a sustainable business model,
in line with Hungarian and EU chip strategies. The Centre is actively involved in
building the European semiconductor ecosystem.
Main tasks:
- Developing domestic competences and knowledge, with a special focus on heterogeneous integration.
- Identifying and internationalising innovative solutions.
- Involving domestic actors in international cooperation.
- Connecting and collaborating with other European centres of excellence in chips.
Priority objectives:
- Alleviating the skills shortage, including micro-certification-based training.
- Support for SMEs and companies in micro- and nanotechnologies.
- Technology transfer support from idea to pilot production.
- Promoting access to the European Chip Fund.
- Improving the visibility and accessibility of competences.
