Our task is to develop and implement new tools and technologies, and to further develop existing systems in line with emerging needs. Our team is composed of colleagues with technical and biological backgrounds, and we also work in active collaboration with the Analytical and Bioremediation Groups, providing us with the necessary insight into the biological needs and conditions of the problems to propose appropriate engineering solutions.
Our main profile is prototyping, process control, automation, development of measurement data acquisition systems (SCADA) and remote access to devices via wired, mobile and VPN networks. The physical implementation and development of the devices we produce is also part of the group’s tasks.
Our work is characterised by cost-effectiveness and flexibility to meet individual needs. The main objective of our process optimisation activities is to reduce human resource requirements and increase efficiency – in order to achieve the intended goal to the fullest. This is demonstrated by our many successful projects to date.
In addition to research and development activities and innovative work, one of AMO’s important missions is to provide opportunities for university internships and thesis work. We are proud that many students have honoured us with their trust and achieved good results during their time with us (successful thesis defence, OTDK II. place thesis, Chamber of Engineering thesis). All colleagues of the Applied Microbiology Department welcome students looking for a thesis or internship!
We hope that one day we will be able to welcome you among our satisfied customers and professionals!
We are at your disposal for any questions!
