As Head of the Applied Microbiology Department, he and his team have been working for over 10 years to find real, working solutions in the field of bioremediation. He has been involved in this type of R&D for almost 15 years and believes that good relationships with partners are crucial to his work – he believes that smooth collaboration is the key to success. He is flexible in his approach to joint tasks, likes a challenge and tries to pay attention to every detail.
Bioremediation is an environmentally friendly remediation process that uses living organisms, most often bacteria, to break down organic compounds that are harmful to health and the environment into harmless end products.
z technology offers an effective, sustainable and usually chemical-free solution for cleaning up contaminated soil and water. Where necessary, we combine our biological systems with physico-chemical processes to make degradation even faster and more efficient.
The main objective of our Bioremediation Group, part of the Applied Microbiology Department, is the biodegradation of organic compounds that are potentially hazardous to the environment and human health. We use bacteria to effectively clean and remediate previously contaminated soils and groundwater in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way. In doing so, we restore and remediate the medium and prevent further contamination, thus saving surface water and groundwater aquifers.
We have our own analytical equipment (GC-MS, GC-FID, HPLC, ICP-OES) to monitor the degradation processes.
We welcome all enquiries and opportunities for cooperation, whether for research, development or industrial applications. We are very open to new challenges and are happy to help you with your specific contamination problems. Contact us with confidence!
