The RM@Schools 3.0(Raw Materials Ambassadors in Schools 3.0) project offers an active learning method for schools teaching 10-19 year olds, engaging students in experiments and educational activities about raw materials. As a successful complement to theoretical education, the active method includes the project website, which is also an interactive forum where they can learn about raw materials and exciting experiments directly, even through self-learning.
The website, as a Virtual Knowledge Centre, provides the necessary materials – for both students and teachers – by creating different learning pathways that directly transfer the knowledge to be acquired.
The aim of the project is to raise awareness of the importance of raw materials, secondary raw materials and their recycling, using hands-on, interactive educational techniques. To recruit new professionals or future professionals in the field of raw materials through the everyday use of the educational kits created.
The project is supported by the EIT KCI Raw Materials.
Project duration: 01.01.2018 – 31.12.2020.
The partner countries: Austria, Belgium, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland
