Project title: Maximising the resilience capacity of municipal communities through load shifting to increase energy efficiency
Beneficiary: Bay Zoltán Nonprofit Ltd.
Start of project implementation: 01.09.2023.
Physical completion date of the project: 31.12.2024.
Total cost of the project: 100 000 000 Ft
Amount of support: 100 000 000 Ft
Aid intensity: 100 %
Presentation of the project:
The aim of the project is to support the energy efficient operation of active user communities (energy communities, municipalities, public institutions, etc.) and to identify and prepare existing energy flexibility capacities for sale on the flexibility market. To achieve this goal, we have developed control methods and models and created a test environment to test the optimised operation of existing PV, energy storage and consumer resilience capacities for energy costs and revenues from load shifting and resilience services.
The project will develop a model and validate it in real test environments. The model will be used to estimate the resilience potential of facilities with resilience potential (municipality, energy community, industry, public institution, etc.) and to perform the corresponding financial calculations.
The project 2020-2.1.1-ED-2023-00252 is funded by the National Research, Development and Innovation Fund.
