The research programme of Univer Product Zrt. on spicy peppers and industrial tomatoes. During the project, the Biotechnology Division is responsible for the development of a new microbial soil amendment product, which can be used for intensive tomato and pepper cultivation on non-acidic (calcareous) lowland sandy soils. It contributes to improved nutrient uptake, reduced plant stress responses and increased immunity to certain pathogenic microorganisms.
The project was supported by the Hungarian State and co-financed by the European Union.
