The EURAXESS TOP III project aims to develop a network of researcher mobility and career development services Expand, develop and make more efficient the activities of the EURAXESS network. In line with the objectives of Horizon 2020’s Science for Society strand, the project will

  • design, develop and test a new package of career development services for researchers to enable the EURAXESS network to provide these services to researchers
  • improve the institutional framework conditions for researcher mobility and career development and complement them with further good practices among EURAXESS member institutions
  • further strengthen the role and services of EURAXESS in intersectoral mobility of researchers, promote the EURAXESS network among private sector researchers and research institutions
  • improve and standardise the quality of information and services provided through the EURAXESS national websites, in line with the development of the European EURAXESS website
  • provides professional training for EURAXESS network staff to build capacity, exchange good practices and facilitate information flow: organises training, study visits, mentoring and twinning services
  • initiate joint activities with other European networks of researchers,
  • raise the overall quality of the services provided by the EURAXESS network to researchers, taking into account quality assurance principles
  • develop proposals for the functioning and role of the EURAXESS network, taking into account medium-term EU policies and priorities.

As a result of the project the EURAXESS network provides a higher quality and wider range of services for European researchers. The information and services offered on the EURAXESS websites and by the network members in person will make research careers more attractive to European researchers, especially young researchers.

Through its activities, the project promotes the effective flow of researchers and research talent in Europe. It will contribute to increasing the number of talented researchers, attracting high-calibre researchers from outside Europe to Europe and thereby contributing to the quality and capacity of research in Europe.

Duration of the project: 2015.09.01. – 2018.08.31.

Partners: 33 consortium members from 33 countries, plus 6 associate members from 6 countries.
