The Bay Zoltán Applied Research Nonprofit Ltd. participates in the Energy data ICT solutions to protect, secure and independent older people at home (CleverGuard) project.
The project will develop CleverGuard, a novel smart home monitoring system to improve the safety of elderly people living alone in their own homes.
The system measures and analyses the electricity consumption of households, which it uses to infer the daily lives of residents. It detects short- and long-term deviations from daily/weekly habits and sends alerts to relatives/carers.
The process used follows the UCD (user-centred development) methodology and involves older people living alone in their homes, relatives and their formal carers.
The project supports older people to live independently and safely in their own homes for as long as possible.
Duration of the project: 2021.04.01. – 2023.12.31.
Project consortium: 8 partners from 4 countries. Lead partner: CLEMAP AG (Switzerland)
