Microelectronics developments in the European chain
The demand for modern electronics systems is constantly growing, and the consortium led by the Bay Zoltán Research Centre is responding to this.
Our aim is not just to develop a value-added power electronics component, but to understand the entire microelectronics value chain and to create a European-level representation of the domestic ecosystem.
The new technologies created by the project will give Hungarian industry an immediate competitive advantage in the international market.
Innovation is focused on creating advanced ceramics that:
- form the basis of power electronics,
- are among the most critical components of modern electronics.
In addition to materials science developments, the project will rely exclusively on European supply chains, thus meeting the EU’s strategic objectives and reducing the EU’s external dependence.
