Research and development of systems supporting the optimised use and storage of alternative and conventional energy sources

We work on the combined, optimised use of alternative and conventional energy sources and the development of energy management systems to support sustainable and reliable energy supply. We develop smart solutions that help decentralised energy producers and the grid to work together efficiently in real time.

One of our key areas of expertise is the complex study of energy systems, with a special focus on the combined use of alternative and conventional energy sources. The creation of sustainable and secure energy supply is one of the most important challenges of our time, based on the more efficient use of energy carriers, optimised system operation and appropriate energy storage solutions.

Our research aims to develop technical and IT solutions to facilitate the integration of weather-dependent energy sources into the energy grid in a more efficient and reliable way. We are also exploring the role of conventional energy sources and their potential for interoperability with renewables, with a particular focus on flexibility, cost-effectiveness and security of supply.

We use simulation and optimisation methods to model the operation of energy systems, taking into account changing consumer demands, weather conditions and market conditions. With these tools, we are able to investigate different operational strategies and propose optimal system solutions.

Our research focuses on the development of energy management systems that enable decentralised energy producers to interact efficiently and automatically with the central grid. In the long term, our goal is to create adaptive and scalable systems that can respond in real time to grid challenges, facilitating more efficient use of green energy and achieving carbon neutrality goals.
