Presentation of the project:
The project will create a design process that can greatly contribute to increasing the efficiency of future structures. The method to be developed can be marketed as a service, the successful application of which requires not only engineering expertise but also experience and knowledge of the target area of application (e.g. aeronautics or the mechanical design of road vehicles) and the experience and knowledge gained in developing the method itself.
Areas of use:
- Positioning of sensors, sensors and design of sensor-actuator mode devices.
- Helping to develop optical processes, such as laser technology,
- Improving anti-icing and vibration damping of aerospace components
- Wind turbine blade vibration damping, damage control, life extension
- Active vibration damping and noise reduction of vehicle suspensions, NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness) applications,
- Active vibration damping of sensitive devices in metrology applications,
- Other high-tech applications such as micro-drone control, space developments
- Energetics: a future application could be the development of deformation-induced electrical energy generating devices similar to current devices.
