Bay Zoltán Nonprofit Ltd. is participating as a project partner in the project coordinated by the Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum Made in Danube – Transnational Cooperation to transform knowledge into marketable products and services for the Danubian sustainable society of tomorrow, which aims to promote international cooperation and knowledge transfer in the field of bioeconomy between the countries of the Danube region. In particular, the project aims to improve the conditions for scientific cooperation between research organisations and SMEs in order to make available new ideas, research results and developments available at international level, increasing the number of marketable products and services developed by SMEs in the fields of agro-biotechnology, sustainable forest management and biofuel production.
The project will also aim to establish 15 innovation partnerships involving at least 40 companies, linked to three regional initiatives in Slovakia (innovative farm management), Croatia (competence centre in the wood sector) and Serbia (biofuels). In this way, the project will contribute to the effective implementation of regional Smart Specialisation Strategies, while increasing the competitiveness of SMEs.
