POWER4BIO Bay Zoltán Kutatóközpont

A POWER4BIO project purpose regional biomass-based management strategies through cross-border knowledge exchange. The project also aims at raising awareness, networking, initiating policy dialogues and mutual learning. Through these activities, it will strengthen EU regions to maximise the use of locally available biomass feedstocks. The project activities will take place in five regions in Central and Eastern Europe and five other regions in Western Europe, but we want the rest of Europe to benefit from the project’s results.

The ultimate objective of the project is to develop tools that can be used in any other region and that strengthen both intra- and cross-border regional cooperation. Through these collaborations, sustainable socio-economic systems based on the efficient use of local natural resources can be created.

The Hungarian region involved in the project is Southern Great Plain. The region is represented by Bay Zoltán Applied Research Nonprofit Ltd.
