What is the HR Excellence in Research Award?

The "HR Excellence in Research" award is given to research organisations that commit to putting the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and Code of Conduct into practice.

The recognition is given to European Commission on the basis of an application submitted by the institution. Successful applicants will be eligible for the official ” HR Excellence in Research” logo.

Winning the title just the first step in a long-term development process:

  • The institution should develop and make public its own HR strategy;
  • The strategy must be put in place (implementation);
  • After that review every three yearsand amend it if necessary.

The role of the Bay Zoltán Research Centre

The Bay Zoltán Research Centre was the first in Hungary to successfully apply for the title in 2021-2022. It will be able to use the recognition from March 2022 and successfully renewed it in 2024 during the first review.

  • The recognition to extend coordinating the necessary steps
