Hungarian-Chinese Technology Transfer Centre (CHTTC) Bay Zoltán Kutatóközpont

The Hungarian-Chinese technology transfer cooperation was launched in 2015 between Bay Zoltán Applied Research Non-profit Ltd. and the High-Tech Centre of Chongqing City.

The resulting Chinese-Hungarian Technology Transfer Centre (CHTTC) is a state-backed institution in both countries, aiming to promote technological cooperation and research links between Hungary and China.

The objective of the Centre is to link the Hungarian and Chinese scientific and business expertise, and to promote cooperation in the fields of research and development, industry and innovation.

A official opening of the Chungking office 2017. took place on 16 May, Péter Szijjártó Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and Liu Guiping, Vice Mayor of Chongqing City.

Our latest achievements in bilateral relations (2025)

  • Chinese-Hungarian Businessmen Meeting:
    In April 2025, we hosted a business forum at the Bay Zoltán Research Centre in Budapest, where we Chinese automotive companies (companies with e-mobility profile, mainly from Sichuan province) and Hungarian automotive and logistics companies and logistics companies were established.
  • Cooperation with Tsinghua University:
    In 2025, the Bay Zoltán Research Centre and the Tsinghua University / Sichuan Energy Internet Research Institute a strategic agreement was signed between Renewable Energy and low CO↪2082↩ emission technologies technologies.
  • Participation in an international scientific forum:
    In May 2025, our colleague participated as a speaker in the Chinese “3rd China-CEEC Forum for Young Science & Technology Talents” (Ningbo), which aimed at developing scientific and educational relations between Central and Eastern Europe and China.
