Optimisation of production and logistics processes

Optimisation of production and logistics processes Bay Zoltán Kutatóközpont

Modern and sustainable economic processes are based on the efficient interconnection of spatially distributed production capacities, raw material resources and consumers.

Logistics systems are the means of establishing these links.

Our Production Service Planning area is dedicated to the development and optimisation of external and internal logistics and production systems used in industry, using geospatial and process modelling tools.

Due to the very high complexity of the systems, the studies are carried out using powerful engineering design and modelling software, which allows the modelling and simulation of the processes in the system. The studies will be carried out using Plant Simulation event-driven simulation software, which specifically supports the modelling of production-logistics processes. In the last 10 years we have carried out projects in this field for several Hungarian multinational companies (e.g. Audi Hungária Kft.; Robert Bosch Energy and Body Systems Kft.; Robert Bosch Power Tool Kft.; Magyar Suzuki Zrt.; etc.).
