Hungarian-Chinese Technology Transfer Centre
In 2012, the Bay Zoltán Research Institute established the China-Hungary Technology Transfer Center, a joint venture between the Ministry of Science and Technology of China and the National Innovation Office.
The main objectives of the centre are:
- support bilateral technology transfer,
- facilitating Hungarian SMEs’ access to the Chinese market,
- support the use of innovative Chinese technologies in Hungary,
- encouraging joint development and investment in the green economy, health, Industry 4.0, environment and digitalisation.
The cooperation has resulted in dozens of business, research and investor contacts, which have contributed to strengthening Hungarian-Chinese innovation relations.
Participation in international programmes
The Centre for Knowledge Management of the Zoltán Bay Research Institute (BAY-TMK) is actively involved in various European and international programmes.
Our priority is to strengthen the innovation potential of Hungarian SMEs and research institutions on the international stage.
Our main activities:
- Generation, coordination and management of EU and international R&D&I proposals
- Building partnerships in European and international clusters
- Technology transfer and market exploitation support
- Developing strategic professional links (e.g. Horizon Europe, EIT, COST)
- Our aim is to turn research results into marketable solutions and to promote the export of domestic knowledge.
